Women's Ministries

Our church has an active women’s group.  Our meetings range from regular meetings, to holiday parties or banquets,  retreats or trips.  During our regular meetings we discuss ideas that can better our church and our community.  We have a lot of fun and fellowship time during our meetings.  I believe God wants us to draw closer to one another, and our meetings help us in doing that.

Our women sponsor the Smoky Mountain Children’s Home, the WWAM project in Haiti, and our Covenant Sisters.  We report on this every quarter, in which for the last five years we have been an award winning church.  I am so proud of our ladies!

Our ladies have several outreach projects that we try to stay current with.
*Collecting canned for our food boxes and Family First Food Pantry.
*Collecting Campbell soup labels for the Smoky Mtn. Children's Home.
*Collecting Box Tops for a Christian school in Georgetown.
*Collecting pop tabs for children with cancer to go to a camp.
*Giving used and new Bibles for the jail ministry.
If you would like to help with any of these worthy causes we would really appreciate it.

Each month we have a Queen of the Month.  This month our queen is Shelia Barnett.  We try to show our appreciation to our queen by sending cards, making phone calls or giving small gifts of appreciation.   Her number and address are in the bulletin each week.  Ladies, let's show Shelia how much we love and appreciate her.

Our ladies are also actively involved with the Southeast Ky. Women's Ministries.   The next meeting will be Monday, February 27 at Wabaco Pentecostal Church at 7 p.m.

Our next ladies meeting for our church will be Monday, February 6 at 6 p.m. at Dairy Queen.
